talkSPORT's Jason Cundy and Jamie O'Hara couldn't see eye to eye about Chelsea's dismal performance against Arsenal.

The Blues were thrashed 5-0 by the Gunners on Tuesday night in what is their 11th Premier League defeat of the season.

It's a result that leaves Chelsea's European qualification hopes in the balance whilst their rivals went three points clear at the top of the table.

Arsenal were the much better side from minute one and dominated the match, but former Blue Cundy believes their first half wasn't all that good from the home side.

Calling into The Sports Bar after, he said: "Right, first-half, I thought Arsenal were average. After the first four minutes we were poor, I felt for Alfie Gilchrist making his Premier League debut.

"[Leandro] Trossard getting the goal, [Djordje] Petrovic poor near post, after that I've got to tell you, I though Arsenal were bang average first half. We had chances and at half time at 1-0, why do you think [Mikel] Arteta got booked? Because Arsenal weren't at it."

After being visibly confused by what he was hearing, O'Hara asked: "What game were you watching? Are you having a laugh?"

"Arsenal weren't at it," Cundy added, before O'Hara quickly stopped him again and replied: "You're joking!"

Cundy insisted: "No I'm not joking. Second half I agree with you, appalling. We had chances, Jackson had chances..."

But O'Hara intervened again, saying: "Chances? Jase sorry mate, hold on. Don't come on here... I know you're a Chelsea man, don't come on here and say that Arsenal were average in the first half mate.

"It could've been 4-0 at half-time. You got absolutely battered. I think Mykhailo Mudryk had one cross where Jackson might have poked his head on it, that was it mate.

"You got totally dominated, totally outclassed, totally overrun, don't come on here and say that you were alright. Come on mate."

Tony Cascarino believes Chelsea's biggest weakness is their lack of a clinical finisher and is unsure whether Nicolas Jackson is the answer for the Blues

"I can't take you seriously, I can't believe you're coming on here and saying that," he added.

"J, you were probably on your phone again texting someone," Cundy replied but O'Hara laughed and reiterated: "You were miles off it, you weren't at it, you were rubbish."

Cundy continued his protests and then claimed O'Hara was 'probably on Instagram again' but was met with: "Don't start being an idiot!"

Trossard scored after four minutes before two goals a piece from Ben White and Kai Havertz inflicted the defeat on Chelsea.

The Blues sit ninth in the league and although they have six games left to play, there are doubts over their ability to finish in the top seven and qualify for Europe.
